Before Sunrisers Hyderabad’s record-breaking performance, Royal Challengers Bangalore held the highest score record, posting 263 runs against Pune Warriors India in Bengaluru back in 2013. Lucknow Super Giants closely followed, managing 257 runs against Punjab Kings last season.

Shortly after, the Czech Republic matched this record by compiling 278/4 against Turkey in the Continental Cup on August 30, 2019. Sudesh Wickramasekara led the charge with a stellar 36-ball 104, supported by Sumit Pokhriyal’s 79.
